About Our Research
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is invested in responding to concerns about the impact of per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) on our health through their funding of a large research project involving five institutions across the United States. The Colorado School of Mines, in partnership with researchers at North Carolina State University, Duke University, Michigan State University and the Colorado School of Public Health, are working to conduct research on the impact of PFAS in communities in their three states and to develop possible means for PFAS remediation.
